Restaurant ORO

Think you need to drive up to Boston in order to find first rate eats?  Guess again!  The fact that you walk in and feel like you're in downtown Boston is the first achievement - but that's not what is notable about this place.  It's the food. The menu is inventive and interesting, the food is incredible, the staff is amazing and the drinks are top notch.  Once you walk in the door you feel like you're in a really hip place somewhere exciting and exclusive.

Sourcing produce from small farms up and down the coast, and fresh seafood from local fishing boats.  Try the lamb carpaccio, served with a lemon aioli, crispy fennel, and pomegranate syrup, and you'll understand why Oro is so great! The inventive entrees include a Cider Glazed Chicken Breast, Pork Osso Buco, Crispy Scituate Lobster Cake, and a Grass Fed Bavette Steak.

The Sunday brunch is a must try!  Superb and perfectly consistent on each visit.  Incredible Huevos Rancheros, served with delicious pulled pork, pico de gallo, and corn tortillas.  Amazing Eggs Benedict and not to be overlooked Nutella Stuffed French Toast, accented with a bruleed bananas. Also available are plump, fresh and expertly opened oysters for something on the lighter side.  To round out the brunch experience, a variety of interesting drinks are offered, including a sparkling wine with muddled fresh raspberries and lime.  What a great way to ease into Sunday afternoon.

Oro is the epitome of a neighborhood gem - go if you can but leave a table for us! And be sure to check out the Tesoro Latin Lounge opening in February 2014!
